Joe takes in a lot of plants that are about to die or are unwanted or both. This one was unwanted by half of a couple and when the other half found out about Joe's green thumb, he relented and gave it up. It has since been reshaped and repotted and it's almost not ugly now. I was supposed to bring home a gigantic and dying split leaf philodendron from my dad's house today, but it wouldn't fit in my car.Sunday, May 3, 2009
Plant orphanage
Joe takes in a lot of plants that are about to die or are unwanted or both. This one was unwanted by half of a couple and when the other half found out about Joe's green thumb, he relented and gave it up. It has since been reshaped and repotted and it's almost not ugly now. If we lived by each other, I'd give you some of my plants bc I'm really not supposed to have plants in the house anymore bc of the whole being allergic to mold thing. : ) But I've grown attached to my little plant friends. It would be tough for me to part with them.
