It's been sort of dreary here on and off all day today. I actually really love Sundays. I like the peacefulness of Sundays, the laziness of Sundays, not having a schedule to adhere to. This lamp is in our den, and this afternoon the light hitting the shade looked so pretty. When I snapped the picture and looked at it, I thought, 'This is how Sundays feel to me.' There's something very calming about our den in the afternoon. It makes you want to slow down and rest. : )

Sundays

I love the way the focus and the light are in the same spot. It gives the photo a really happy but really dreamy feel, which is exactly what you were going for. Impressive!
