My whole weekend...
Was spent pretty much working on this cake. I have the basics down. Now I am brainstorming ideas for decorating the top and sides. I have a headache. ; )
It's gorgeous! I don't think you need any more decoration than that yummy chocolate frosting.
If you feel it really needs it, I think a simple thin consistency white buttercream piped on in a random lace-y pattern would be nice. Or some white chocolate shavings piled on top.
But it's just so nice in your second photo, I can't see doing anything more!

oooh! Chocolate shavings on top. That sounds really nice. I like the lace buttercream pattern idea too. That would look really pretty.
