Portrait of my consciousness

This morning my friend Jen came over and we did an exercise in a book I'm reading "The Sound of Paper" by Julia Cameron. For 30 minutes, you flip through magazines ripping out images that speak to you, then you paste them on poster board. It's a fascinating process that unlocked some things in both of us and sparked some good dialogue about our dreams and hopes.

  1. That sounds really cathartic and fun. I wonder if I could do something like that with the Goose. It probably wouldn't reach the level of conversation yours did, but I might be able to get her talking more about school.

  2. You should totally try it. I think it's an amazing tool.
