It's a bust

Someone looked at the house this afternoon. They liked it, but complained about the master bath. It's a "no go." They said. It's really hard not to be frustrated and get so disappointed each time. But at least it buys me more time in my house.

  1. The right people will come, it just isn't time yet. I know, it's an awful waiting game. I was there, had to short sell my condo after my divorce was final. I don't really have a lot of comforting words but I do understand where you are at. When the time is right, it will be perfect. Hang in there....

  2. Thank you, Elizabeth. It's nice knowing someone can empathize with what I'm going through.

  3. I just don't get buyers. I have to tell you, Cars, I would buy that house in a heartbeat. I'm not wild about the neighbor (but who ever is totally in love with their neighbors?!) and the the look of the house from the front isn't my ideal, but the inside is better than I could ever dream! And the backyard is just SOOOOOO amazing. I don't understand why the first person who walked in didn't buy it. I can't get that place out of my mind! I wish it were here.

  4. I had two showings today. I just so happened to meet the potential buyers both times and they had excellent things to say. One realtor even said it was the nicest, most beautiful split level he's ever seen! I was like, well buy it! bwahahaha!
And you're right about the exterior. I never was that crazy about it, but once you walk through the door, it impresses easily. ;)

  5. It's definitely not what you expect a split-level to be like, and it is not what you expect from outside. It looks like a normal house from the street. It's not until you get inside that you find how HUGE and beautiful and versatile it is. Whoever ends up buying it will LOVE it.
