Soaring heart

I walked home after Anna's parent-teacher conference tonight with a soaring heart. For one, my kid is really smart. For another, the teacher "gets" her and will work with us to help Anna focus better and reach her potential. For yet another, I'm totally making this teacher my friend at the end of the school year. I adore her. (Think that's creepy? I only mentioned the house for sale three houses down once, not three times like I wanted to.)

I had to post a second photo -- I hate how cold it is to make this happen, but I love when the snow is covered in glittery ice crystals. It's magical.

  2. Does the world stop when it snows there? I love how we'll get 10 inches and it's only borderline for school closings. ;)

  4. Remember how badly I wanted you to move in? I'm so bad at hiding my admiration for people!
