Early morning

I was up a little after 6 this morning and enjoyed a really silent walk with Yoshi this morning. The pavement was still wet from rain and the neighborhood was still asleep. I need to get up earlier every day to enjoy this.

  1. I know this quiet! My favorite time of day is the early morning just after the crickets go to sleep (in the summer) and just before the birds wake up. It's so quiet. I love it!

  2. It really is the best time of the day, before the rest of the world wakes up.

  3. I'm hoping that my knees will be better enough soon to go running at that time of the morning. I had a dream last night about it and it was disappointing. I went to the knee doctor because running made them really bad, and he said my expensive orthotics were making them worse and that what I needed was a realignment and then he started yanking my bones right and left. :(
How fun would it be to meet up for an early morning walk every day?

  4. I'm sad your orthodics aren't helping your knees. I'm also sad you spent that money. Why didn't your doctor try the realignment before having you get the orthodics? What exactly is wrong with your knees? Ironically I'm not supposed to do weight bearing exercise on my ankle, but exercise makes it feel better. I also took glucosine (sp?) & chondrotin (sp?) & that helped it feel better too. Have you tried those?

  5. Hey, Elizabeth! They *might* be helping. It's just my anxiety popping through my dreams that makes me think they aren't working. I'm sure you understand that! I haven't tried those supplements, so I'll definitely look into those. My problems are more mechanical than anything. It really is an alignment problem, but maybe those supplements (along with an anti-inflammatory) would make a difference!
