My friend Katie (middle) opened her art show tonight .
I was so proud of her. The work was amazing and she even sold a major piece!

I've never had key lime pie before, but I have to say, Katie's is the best ever.

paper cranes

paper cranes are supposed to bring good luck and longevity (I believe), so I gave a small handful to Katie for her birthday. i wish i could make some.

More than anyone else, I have the most lunches with Katie. She's also a breath of fresh air. We giggled about silly stuff over plates of soft noodles.

Calm

Whenever I'm at Katie's house, I always feel so at peace and relaxed. Katie has that effect on me. It's not just her home. ; )
