Almost...

By the time I'm finished with this scarf, winter will be over. I few more rows and I can cast off.

New blanket

I didn't even notice our neighbor's bushes had red berries on them until they got coated in snow. I knew it was going to be cold today, but I didn't realize we were also getting MORE snow. This winter is kicking our butts.

Snuggling

It was really cold tonight again, so I wrapped up Yoshi in a quilt his grandma made for him when I first adopted him. I think he likes it.

Cold nights

The nights have been really cold here this week. I'm trying to stay warm in the house with my favorite sweater coat.

Winter skin

Joe and I both have terrible skin about two weeks into winter. I moisturize constantly to (hopefully) keep it from cracking and bleeding, but I'm beginning to think Joe isn't as vigilant.

Brrr...

Did I mention it's cold as hell here? Yoshi and I had a morning walk in freezing drizzle. (Love how we both posted self-portraits!)

Winter storm

It's so quiet out there tonight. I love that about the snow; the streets go to sleep.
