This morning I introduced my friend Jen to Smith Street Diner. She didn't believe me when I told her that the biscuits were huge, until hers arrived. It's like the size of an infant's head!

Day of rest

So I know I'm cheating here by posting more than one photo, but I couldn't resist bc I wanted you to meet Addison and I wanted to show you the fabulous food. : ) This was the bright spot in my weekend.

Slowing down

The goal today was to slow down and relax. Made brunch consisting of lemon pancakes, bacon and eggs for me and Woodie, took a big nap in the afternoon and then knitted my scarf while watching "When Harry Met Sally." Today was so much better.

Unexpected brunch

Your plane was more than 12 hours late, but one of the good things in all this mess was the unexpected and delicious brunch we had together, and picking up exactly where we left off.
