Pussy willow

I went over to my friend's (Laurie and Amy) to be there while they planted a pussy willow in memory of their kitty, Shadow, who will always hold a special place in my heart. I felt honored to be a part of it.

Someone's missing

Somewhere near Rochester right now, a dying woman is hearing from a complete stranger that her dog died. But that the other one is happy, healthy and an integral part of a family who loves him very, very much.

I don't know if that was the right thing to do, but it was up to the shelter what they were going to tell her. I'm heartbroken for her and for the loss of Shadow, all over again.
