A peaceful evening...

Crawling in bed with a stack of magazines and candles lit all around me. It's too cold to leave the bed.

Cold day

The schools had a "cold day" today. But work has been crazy so Joe had to stay home with them. When I came home they were having fun in a tent Joe set up in the living room. While trying to capture their ridiculously static hair through the vent, I caught this shot. I like how when you back up, you can see them better.

New blanket

I didn't even notice our neighbor's bushes had red berries on them until they got coated in snow. I knew it was going to be cold today, but I didn't realize we were also getting MORE snow. This winter is kicking our butts.

Cold nights

The nights have been really cold here this week. I'm trying to stay warm in the house with my favorite sweater coat.

Brrr...

Did I mention it's cold as hell here? Yoshi and I had a morning walk in freezing drizzle. (Love how we both posted self-portraits!)

Snuggly warm

Yoshi has been curling up into a tight ball at bedtime. Isn't he cute? It's been sooo cold here - in the teens at night.
