Even though it's been a busy couple of days, having to make these cupcakes for a friend was a really good release.

When I was sick, my mom bought me cupcakes all the time from Food Lion to fatten me up and also make me happy. Tonight, as I was on the phone with her in the grocery store, I spotted these for $2.99 and had to get them. I was feeling nostalgic.

Shouldn't all meetings have cupcakes?

My boss asked me to make some mini cupcakes for our staff meeting. They were a hit. People appreciated the little sparkle of bling on top. ;)

One of my favorite bakeries in town turned five today. They were giving away free mini cupcakes and a drawing for dessert for a year. It also provided the perfect excuse for a break in the work day with two of my favorite gals.
