Toes
I cannot get over how big Anna is getting. Even her toes look adult-sized. Of course, adult-size is not where her feet will stop growing. Poor thing will be cursed with GIANT feet from her big-footed parents.

Happy Birthday, Jack!
Jack turns 6 today, so the girls and I made him a birthday hat. When I was double-checking his papers to make sure it was 6 (and not 7), I realized it's also been a year since his previous owner gave him up. Now that I know more of her story, I see how even more tragic that was and how it must have hurt her to give him up on his birthday. I hope she knows how happy he is and that Shadow's last few months were spent being loved beyond her wildest dreams.

PeeDee
I found this while scrolling through the end of my photos trying to decide what today's photo would be. Kind of makes me want to go back to those days, but then I look at Anna who has real, honest-to-goodness conversations with me and is turning into such a cool young lady. I look forward to every new stage ahead.

Sammy
Joe took a few shots of Sammy I found on the camera tonight. I love this one. She's getting so thin and old, Cars. She's doing great, still jumping up on the couch, purring and eating, but I can't help but think our days are numbered.

Bachelorette gift
I made this sweet little reversible apron for a good friend's bachelorette today. She's a modern woman with some old fashioned values and her house is the same way, so I thought the pairing of this adorable modern pattern and cute old lace would fit perfectly.

Lost moments
Every once in a while Parker looks so much like pictures of Edie and me at this age that I just can't stand it. And my first instinct is to show my mom. I'm forever grateful that she was able to meet Parker before she passed, but it kills me that Mom doesn't get to see her and Anna grow up. I know she'd ADORE them.

Snugglebug
I wasn't feeling very good so it was nice to borrow my sister's snugglebug while I got enough energy to drive all the way back to Rochester.
